Gilpen Lake from the Zirkle Circle
During the summer months my husband and I spend weekends hiking local places in North Routt and towards the end of the summer will try and hike the Zirkle Circle.
I painted this piece, on site, during three different trips around the Zirkle Circle. Painting on-site is often referred to as plein-aire.
It means “open air” painting which is part of the way that I paint..
The original painting has been sold. A giclee is available, framed and matted for $300. It numbers 3/100 limited edition prints.
