White Pelicans at Lake Catamount
For many years I would walk with a friend along the shores of Lake Catamount in the summer months. This area is full of wildlife and migrating birds. I have seen not only these lovely white pelicans, but great blue heron, sandhill cranes, hawks and eagles.
The American white pelican rivals the trumpeter swan, with a similar overall length, as the longest bird native to North America.
This painting is beautifully framed and measures 18″x15″.
