Stillwater Deadhorse Canyon Canyonlands NP
Third watercolor painting in my Stillwater series. Stillwater is a stretch of river on the Green River winding through deep canyons in Canyonlands National Park.
The first is called the Outlaw Cabin and the second is Stillwater Reflections.
Deadhorse Canyon is a favorite campsite of ours as it gives access to days of hiking along to Turks Head point and the Indian ruins. The hills are covered in jasper stone which glints with a red glow.
